She knows the wiccan is trying to get back into the dating scene and doesn’t want to play the big bad slayer card if that’s all that’s happening. Tara shakes her head minutely and Buffy is grateful for the certainty.
“Oh,” Buffy says, draping an arm across the back of Tara’s chair in a territorial move Faith would be proud of, “she’s spoken for.”
