Summary
18 months later, everyone has accepted what happened. That Vecna is dead and they can move on with their lives. Mike is coming to terms with everything slowly, and is starting to feel at peace; other than losing El, he thought this it was the best outcome with most of the group surviving.
Everything is just about perfect... is it too perfect? Did only two people die in this whole ordeal? Was it too easy? Is this the actual end of all of this?
Or... is this just the ending easiest for Mike to comprehend?
Mike is suspicious. Something is wrong, but what?

Summary
Playing house at Robby’s place initially was like a dream. Lounging around, surrounded by his little plants, taking care of them. Doing the dishes like he really owned a house. Sleeping in a bed in peace, like he really owned a house. The view of Pittsburgh was breathtaking; all of the high rises reminded him that he was a small part of something much bigger. All of the imagery and framed photos of Robby with his motorcycle reminded Dennis of just how much the guy loved that two-wheeled majesty. It was almost like the motorcycle was his only friend.

This makes the other man pause, then he’s all smiles again. This time, he smiles wider, fangs now completely exposed. A breath catches in Will’s throat at the sight of them-very long and very pointed things, a predators natural weapon. In all honesty, he’s impressed.
And a little turned on.
