So… it turns out Sakura might have been onto something when she said Naruto would be happy if he just found his perfect person. And maybe he’d been a little off-base about Kakashi’s interest in that particular subject.
But to be fair—if someone had told him a year ago that happiness would look like passing paperwork back and forth like love letters, complaining about water temperature and dog hair, and peeling back physical and metaphorical masks with Hatake Kakashi…
Well. He’d certainly owe them an apology and a personalized gift basket, because wow, Naruto is certain it can’t get better than this.
