“You do know how to unbuckle this belt by now, no?” Caitlyn's accent slips out as she looks down her pants and back at Vi with a smile on her face, visibly a teasing one.
“You don't like it this way?” Vi stops in her tracks, voice slightly hesitant for a moment before she moves her hands to Caitlyn's pants.
“I'm just teasing you,” Caitlyn giggles and Vi's eyebrows relax at the view. “This way is good, too.”
Vi raises an eyebrow at her, the fond memory of their first time together making her lips curl into a tiny smile, and she retorts. “Just good?”

If Vi wasn’t going to study, Caitlyn would outpace her by sheer preparation. She’d take extra notes, attend every optional lecture, even dig into obscure research papers that their professor had only hinted at during office hours. Vi might breeze through on charm and natural talent, but Caitlyn had the power of discipline on her side.
The only problem? Discipline didn’t account for Vi.

Caitlyn laughed into the phone’s speakers and it made Vi’s heart stutter. It always did.
“Perhaps… I did have a bit too much to drink.” Caitlyn slurred and Vi didn’t have to probe further to know that her girlfriend was probably a few more inches away from being wasted.
