Summary
When bandits threaten your village the town is forced to turn to the dragon living in the mountain for help. The best tribute to send a dragon has always been a beautiful maiden. Your name was the unlucky one chosen to climb the mountain and beseech the dragon for help in return for your life. Unbeknownst to you or anyone in the village, the rumored dragon is not what you were expecting. He's a man...partly. And he has no interest in eating you. Xavier follows your horrified line of sight and you watch, frozen in place, as his eyes widen when they land on the handcuffs. A mix of emotions flicker across his face: surprise, confusion, curiosity, and...could that be desire?He walks over to the bed and picks up the silver cuffs, turning them over in his hands. He glances over to you with furrowed brows, confusion written on his face.
"You bought handcuffs...for us to use around the apartment?"
