Katsuki finds out his body is shutting down, and they can't locate the cause. Now, confronted with his mortality (again), he realizes there's still so much he wants to do before he dies, and all of it includes a freckled, green-haired boy.
It's a race against his own ticking time clock to finish the suit for Izuku. Katsuki will give him his dream back—even if it kills him.

There was something wrong with the nerd. Katsuki could see it despite the smile the idiot plastered on his face in front of the rest of the class. A dark shadow had taken up residence behind those viridian eyes. It wasn’t abnormal. All of them had some weight resting on their shoulders since the war ended. They would never be the same people they were a year ago. But the difference between Izuku and everyone else is that the freckled boy was trying to shoulder everyone else's burdens without processing his own. It’s like he’s running away from all the memories of the war, but it wouldn’t stop them from catching up with him in time.
Katsuki hated how clearly he could see it—how blind the others were to it.
Izuku was drowning right in front of them, sinking deeper and deeper into the rapid currents of grief and guilt, and no one could see it.

Summary
Bakugou Katsuki does what a sane person would do when their best friend refuses to start a hero agency with him— by running halfway across the world. He's later put to the test when quirkless children start going missing and the people in power seem to be covering something up. It's a good thing Katsuki's the best then.
Meanwhile, Izuku finds out what it's like to live in a world without Kacchan right by his side— leading to some self-realizations that have him finally chasing after what he really wants.
