He wants to bury his face into his hands as he conjures up images of Till–Till in the quad with a guitar in his lap, Till walking alongside him as they make their way to class, Till in his bed puzzling over some sheet music. He gathers himself and smiles calmly across the little cafe table. “He’s nice.”

So, in one final act of desperation, he blew most of his money he'd worked so hard to gain, to surprise her on a date.
And it didn't work. Now, heartbroken, and about to be evicted from his apartment, Rody doesn't have anywhere to go.
But luckily, Vince is willing to let him stay in his apartment! (Under the explicit requirement that Rody cleans and serves guests if they come.)

Vincent was not a man who could easily be swindled with anything, especially not love. Love is not something he wishes to bother with. He already had everything he could've wanted. Fame as a chef, a world-renowned restaurant of his own, and a nice apartment on top of said restaurant. What more could he ask for?
Well, it was possibly the attention of the stupid little waiter that worked for him, and he didn't even know it yet.

Vincent does not have cannibalistic tendencies and eventually Rody starts growing on him. Vince soon starts being kind, offering help when he would normally not have. After a few very deep talks about past relationships, such as Monan and Rody and Victor and Vincent, they eventually get together and they are very obvious. They soon get found out. Vincent pays a visit to Victor.
