Summary
It started with a simple question: What's the nature of their professors' relationship? To say it snowballed from there would be a gross understatement. The answer is much more complex than the girls were anticipating.
A.k.a an exploration of witch courtship and tradition through the lens of young witches in the past and present.

Summary
The hands at his waist grip a little tighter. Qifrey, who has been cautiously opening himself to this kind of physical contact in the past few months, has been surprised to discover that he likes it—being held, pressed, kept tight. It stokes the part of him that is terrified of being trapped, just enough to keep him from relaxing.
It’s precisely this interplay between comfort and uneasiness that made him consider the possibility of using it to their advantage.
(Or: an exploration of trauma, healing and acceptance, of settling into one's own skin, and of what it means to make a home in one's heart.)

Summary
“We’re…” Qifrey trailed off as he realized he had no idea how to describe it, brow furrowing. “Hm.”
Was dating the right word for it? Certainly, it held the definition that worked best for how Qifrey and Olruggio acted. They held hands, they kissed, they shared a bed most nights—which, on occasion, even led to some things Qifrey couldn’t fathom doing with anyone else.
And yet, something about the word did not quite fit.

Summary
Olruggio's scruffy, unpretentious allure was sometimes strong enough that, out of a sense of sheer self preservation, Qifrey would give his apologies and make himself scarce for the evening, pretending that he needed to revise his lesson plan for the week, or write to Beldaruit, or even just head to bed early.
“Suit yourself,” Olruggio would say, his uneven grin making it all the worse.
