“‘m Luke,” he blurts out, knocked slightly off his game from how absolutely gorgeous this man is. The man’s eyes drop to take in Luke, and he tries not to squirm as they trace up his body, hesitating at his lips before meeting his own again.
“Fuckin’ blue.” He mutters under his breath, as though he hadn’t meant to say it out loud. He clears his throat softly. “Ash. Nice to meet you, Luke. I’ve got bad news for you though.” Luke’s stomach jumps to his throat, assuming the worst until he feels Ash bump his foot against his own under the water. “You forgot to take your socks off.”or, luke is a troubled rockstar stuck in a terrible contract. ashton is a model that’s out and proud. when they’re caught together and luke is outed, his pr team decides to enlist ash to be his fake boyfriend. they definitely won’t fall in love.

Although, his new neighbor has likely crafted an Ashton-looking villain inside his head, because while he may be the asshole who can’t keep it down, Ashton’s the asshole who told him to shut up— and now, Ashton really can’t be sure which one of those monikers is worse.

“What, is it good?” Cal asks, eyes sparkling. Ashton clears his throat which suddenly feels a little dry, and shoves the camera at Calum, incapable of giving him a real answer. “Damn, that’s hot,” Cal says appreciatively when he sees it.
“Yeah,” Ashton quickly agrees, too quickly, red climbing up his cheeks when he realizes how much he’s letting himself show. He clears his throat. “I mean, the lighting’s pretty good.”Calum gives Ashton a look that makes him squirm. “Yeah, I agree,” he says casually, but there’s something about his voice, something about the way he’s slowly moving closer to Ashton, so slow Ashton wouldn’t notice if he wasn’t so attuned to Calum by now that every small movement feels like a tidal wave. Ashton can’t help feeling like something is about to happen, but he doesn’t know what.
He definitely doesn’t expect it to be Calum humming and saying, “I do think my lips would look better wrapped around something.”
Or things escalate one day when Ashton takes some pictures of Calum, unable to focus on anything but his lips.
