Summary
Wise begrudgingly unburies his face from his palms, putting on his best customer service mask, “welcome to Rand– oh.”
The mask immediately drops as he sees who has just entered the store.
Lighter.
“Hey, Manager,” he greets with a small wave as he approaches the counter. “How're you doin’ today?”
“I'm fine,” Wise lies. He hopes he's at least a bit convincing, but the way Lighter's smirk downturns tells him he isn't successful in the slightest.
“Oh, so your eyes aren't bothering you, then? That's good to hear, though I guess that means I came all this way for nothing.”
Or, Lighter has a few remedies he shares with Wise for his growing pain.
Takes place after 2.7 Champions Never Fall to the Past, so slight story spoilers.

Summary
Manato has a bad habit of always paying for Wise on their friendly outings, always telling Wise he can pay next time. Except next time comes, and yet the Thiren still pays.
Wise is confused.
Belle just thinks her brother is dumb.

Summary
The first thought that sluggishly passes through the morning fog of Wise's brain is that he's glad that Manato finally relaxed and got comfortable. The second thought is that Manato must run warm, and Wise laughs internally at how fitting that is.
The third thought hits him like a brick as Manato's hot breath puffs against his back and sends a warm tingle through his body.

Mydei huffs, what kind of foolish logic is that? Still, it sounds interesting, almost fun, and Mydei never says no to a battle of wits or might.
“You’re a strange man,” he simply says. “But alright, if I win, you promise to confess, honestly, to whichever girl you’re interested in. Whatever answer she gives you will accept without protest and then stop disturbing the cheerleading squad.”
Phainon draws himself to his full height so they are standing eye to eye, his blue eyes glittering with determination and delight.
“Fine. But if I win, you have to wear the girl’s cheerleading uniform.”Star quarterback Phainon is pining over a mysterious hottie on the cheerleading squad, whose identity he refuses to reveal. Not on Mydei’s watch, for the self proclaimed ‘Guardian of the cheerleading squad’ is convinced that the charming, charismatic playboy is up to no good.
