“How uh—extreme have you gone with someone before?” Blake asked, sitting on one of the kitchen bar stools in Matt’s swanky, midtown apartment. He was doing a bad job of appearing innocently curious.
Matt saw right through him. He leaned over the counter to get close to Blake’s face with a menacing tilt to his head. “Is there a kink you’re hiding from me?”

Blake’s shoulders scrunched up, suddenly tight and emotional like he was fully in heat. “I don’t—I don’t have a choice.” He forced out through his teeth, keeping his head ducked so that Matt wouldn’t see his watery eyes. “This is fucked up, dude. I’m fucked up and—and this shit is wrong.”

Blake is six foot two, a grown ass man with a successful YouTube channel and a wide network of internet friends. None of them know he isn't an alpha—no one had asked. It was easy to just assume when they took one look at him or spent hours on call with him in sessions. He's loud, brash, stubborn, the picture of an alpha. He'd go to extreme lengths to keep that picture intact.

Matt took a step into the room, cocking his head with a cautious smile. “You’re mad that I won that stupid game?”
Blake granted himself a sip of water so that the glass could block his face for a precious moment. “No, ‘course not. I’m not a fuckin’ baby, dude.”
“Well, I’m just workin’ with what you’re giving me, buddy.” Matt huffed with candor. “D’you wanna spit it out, or…?”
Blake scowled, tracing the lines of his water glass to stall for the right way to say it. “I’m mad that you have this stupid tendency to…to—I don’t know.” He knew he was losing him, because Matt advanced much further in the room, less concerned about genuinely upsetting him. Blake floundered for his bearings. “You—you beat me so bad it was like you fuckin’ hated me, or something.”
Matt raised a brow, stronger than before, and he knew that few words were required to back the action up. “Yeah?”

"I hope you're not as good on that broom as you are at Potions, Lee." Jisung says, unable to contain a hint of nastiness.
"Minho." He says, as if to correct Jisung. "Stick around and find out."
"I'm good, thanks." Jisung says, dismounting his broom alongside Chan and Changbin. He keeps his eyelids lowered lazily as he takes Minho’s hand, turning his palm upwards to drop the snitch inside. "Don't wanna distract you."

“Hm?" Jisung says, a little behind.
"If we get girlfriends." Minho specifies. "This doesn't have to change, does it? The way we're friends?"
“No," Jisung says without hesitation, "Of course not. It's not like I even want a girlfriend."
“You don't?" Minho's expression, previously foggy, clears up instantly, interest in his eyes. "Why not?"
“Uh—well, I don't know." Jisung says, not very convincing.
“Don't swing that way?"
