Summary
"You got new flowers," she said uncertainly.
"Well, yes," Shepard admitted. "But not just any flowers. I had them specially imported from Earth. Don't worry, I spoke to the right people about it. They've been treated so that they won't damage the biosphere."
"That's good," Tali said, bending down to examine the yellow blossoms. "What are they called?"
"The scientific name is Helianthus annuus," Shepard pronounced carefully. "Commonly known as the sunflower."

Summary
A hundred years after the Veil is torn down, Fen'Harel has fallen into myth, a cautionary tale of hubris. The Evanuris have returned to their rightful place, more powerful than ever, and rule over all of Thedas. Renehn is a humble slave and sentinel of Mythal, tasked with guarding the All-Mother herself, with no memory of her life before the Evanuris rose.
When Renehn discovers a massive wolf deep beneath the palace, a god imprisoned, her world is turned upside down. Sent careening back into the past, she wakes in chains, a strange mark on her palm. Named the herald of a god, at first Renehn want nothing more than to return to her own time — but this place and these people are somehow familiar to her.
As her memories slowly return, Renehn must use her knowledge of coming events to prevent the rise of the Evanuris and save the world from the fall of the veil.
But memories are fickle things, and she isn't remembering everything. Not yet.

Summary
Solitude was a rare thing these days, for the Spymaster.
It seemed that everyone wanted a piece of her limited time. From agents looking for instruction or relaying information, to her fellow advisors, plotting and planning the future of the Inquisition, to the Inquisitor herself.

Lena sneezed.
"Maker bless you," Duncan offered into the silent evening, the fire spluttering in the wind.
"Er," Lena said, unsure of this new ritual. "Thank you?"

Summary
The candle sputtered and faded away, and Inquisitor Eleanor Trevelyan looked up from her book, realizing that she had read the same passage at least three times without absorbing any of the words. Closing both her eyes and the rather dull treatise on the Antivan language, she yawned.
Eleanor stretched her arms over her head before stepping over to the fireplace, where the wood had burned down to cinders and ash. In her waiting, she'd allowed the fire to die.
"Well, that won't do," she muttered to herself, kneeling down to load more wood onto the grate and light it with a nearby match.
She couldn't have Josephine coming to bed in a freezing room.

Summary
Lake Calenhad glittered in the morning sun, waves gently lapping against the shore. To anyone else, it might have been a beautiful sight. To Joana Amell, nothing could be beautiful.
Not this day.
