Summary

Summary
Snowdin is nice, quiet. The monsters pleasant, friendly, welcoming. That's what I needed, right? That's what Papyrus needed. I'd been everything but pleasant and friendly since we moved. I wasn't always like this. I used to be a half-way decent monster to be around. I had friends, a job and I walked away from it all. But what happened? Why did I feel like we needed to get away from New Home, from the lab? To drag my teenage brother across the underground to escape the haunting shadow around us? Or was it just surrounding me?
Ugh, this was frustratingly familiar. All these questions and no answers. Maybe I really was crazy.

Summary
Dr. W. D. Gaster is the royal scientist, working directly under King Asgore. After the monsters are sealed underground he is presented with new challenges. Food, water, power, all of these things are a far cry from the endless war machines he had designed on the surface. However, Gaster is eager to get back to the surface, to see the stars again. Despite the King's disapproval, the good doctor decides to take matters into his own hands...
Chapters are long and formatting might be weird, but I'm trying to make it readable. This story starts from the very beginning of the monsters being sealed to beyond the true pacifist ending. It explores the idea of a rather rash, asshole scientist creating Sans and Papyrus via cloning and explores their lives together as a rather dysfunctional family from start to finish.
