Meet Yoongi, settling into the worn leather-look seat, into the weight of the pedals and the thickness of the keys. At 4.15am on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, this piano is his. From 4.15am, the time his train comes in, to 4.27am, the time his second train leaves. For about 11 minutes, Yoongi can be the pianist he always dreamed of being, instead of the bartender who watches others play for an audience.
Yoongi’s audience tends to be the homeless, the ghosts, the foxes and mice, and they’re not really listening.
But someone has been listening to Yoongi lately, Yoongi just doesn’t know it yet.

It had been two years, since Hoseok last left.
Hoseok withdraws the pebble from his pocket, warmed in his palm ever since picking it from the beach. He rolls its weathered smoothness over in his hand just once, considering its own submission to the sea, before throwing it. Then he sends a small prayer to the angered sky, despite always laughing at the idea of a God.
