Summary
Danielle Marsh, head counselor of the Aphrodite Cabin, had been pining for a girl for three years. As a daughter of the Goddess of Love and Beauty, Danielle had a reputation to uphold. Yet each time the head counselor of the Athena Cabin, Kang Haerin, walked by, Danielle appeared as though struck by the heart-shaped arrow of Eros. One could say she was painfully, irrevocably smitten.
Kang Haerin, in comparison, was beyond irritated at the thought of being the apple of an Aphrodite kid’s eye. Even though Danielle had two quests under her belt and was reputable in the eyes of their famed predecessors, having been selected and highly favored by former Aphrodite Cabin head counselor Piper McLean, Haerin could never view any Aphrodite kid as anything but superficial.
When Danielle happened to eavesdrop on Haerin, the former’s heartbreak triggered a river of hatred for the girl she once liked. Eros would say love and hate are closely intertwined, and Haerin is about to find out how inconsolable and dangerous a heartbroken Aphrodite kid could be.
