Summary
When somebody dies, their spirit doesn't always return to the planet. Sometimes it bonds to a significant object or place—or a person. Stranded without memories in Midgar, Cloud begins to sense not only the malicious presence of Sephiroth following him around, but a mysterious and protective presence as well.
Having died in the Midgar desert, Zack's spirit follows Cloud through the events of FFVII Remake/Rebirth, a force of protection and warmth. Zack tries to cope with the fact that not only can the man he loved not perceive him, but also he doesn't remember him. Cloud tries to discover who this caring entity following him is and why.
