Debra's hand found her big brother's neck, and she clutched for the hair on his nape. In the process, her fingers grazed his pulse and Dexter hardly shivered. This was her new priority. She desired to count how fast his heart ran and memorise it.
Would his heart race faster in his sister's hold? Would it do the same as he plunged his blade into yet another helpless fawn?
