“Feels good,” Wooyoung slurs, eyelids draped half-shut. He’s watching from below the open fan of his lashes, and Hongjoong can't help how the hinge of his jaw tightens in warning.
He recognizes danger for what it is.
There's honey smeared sticky between Wooyoung’s lips, dripping down along his chin, and Hongjoong is starved for it. He wants to dip below into a kiss that’s as much teeth as it is tongue, wants to lick into Wooyoung’s mouth and see what else it is he can find there, within the sweetness of his breath.
Like most things, it starts off with good intentions.

Not long after, he's started a mutiny in Hongjoong's ranks. And gotten slapped in the face. He thinks he really shouldn't fall for his short, sadistic, bully, tyrannosaurus boss. After all, Hongjoong can't be touched and Wooyoung is an affectionate idiot. Unfortunately his heart, his gut and his dick are all in agreement that fucking up isn't so bad, when punishment lets him get his knees on Hongjoong's floor.
~~~This story is also called Wildflower because, like wildflowers, both men have managed to grow despite harsh conditions, fragile and strong at once. Injuries more duct-taped-together than healed, they're too unconventional for most people, but might be just unconventional enough for each other.

It isn't much, but it's awkward and he sort of feels like he's doing something wrong, so he curls his fingers and bunches the fabric into his fist to give it another light tug in the awkwardest way—but with a smile, to make it not weird, obviously.
"Thank you," Hongjoong finally says. Awkward Idiot Extraordinaire. "For all of the stuff you do for me. It means a lot."

With the way he reacted, Wooyoung would have thought they had the messiest break up in existence. He figured that he would soon be having to pick a side, draw in battle lines and build up a defensive wall against Seonghwa.
