Summary
It smiled at him. With his teeth. His muscles, deteriorating and rotting. It stole him, it wouldn't let him rest. It dragged him through the earth. It strung him like a marionette, and then smiled at him, used his voice, it used it wrong.
It defiled his body, taking him from the one thing he could be guaranteed: rest in death. Couldn't even let Ted have that. It's so cruel, it's not fair, it's sickening, and it is grotesque.
Booster looks at it, (definitely not him, it. Calling it him would be to dishonor that memory, the memory of that kind, selfless, wonderful man.) he looks at it and only feels complete and utter disgust.
“That is the sickest damn thing I have ever heard.” His body fills with that familiar rage, that grief, that despair.
Booster is going to vomit.

Summary
"He doesn't have a frame of reference. For kissing Johnny, that is. But when he closes his eyes and he kisses Booster Gold, when he brings his hand up to his blonde hair, he can imagine, then, that someone else is in front of him. Kissing him like this.
He keeps it going. He knows he shouldn't. It's horrible, his mind screams at him. But Booster really is so much like him."

Summary
"Wolfwood's hands are cold, Vash realizes numbly.
They're not meant to be cold, they're meant to be warm and lively as he points out things on the horizon, or as he's colorfully gesturing at Vash when he's about to do something stupid.Maybe they were always cold, maybe he always had frigid hands like this and Vash just never knew because he never allowed himself to hold them.
Now he'd never get to know."
Or, the burial of Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
