Saitama is just a guy out in space who scavenges junk for fun who thinks he's stumbled on the find of the century when he comes across an expensive-looking android on an abandoned planet.
Turns out, Genos isn't an android - he's a cyborg who talks too much and wants too much, and Saitama hasn't been within earshot of another human in so long, he forgot what it was like to deal with the expectations of others. (He hates it, for the record.)
