“Yeah,” Yoongi agrees. “You’re right.”
“So he’s… not trying to kill you?”
“No.” Yoongi sighs and tips his head back. “It’s worse.”
“Worse?” Jimin echoes. “What could be worse?”
“He’s trying to knit."

Yoongi knows his husband is trying to be sweet, to do something nice for him as a surprise when they’re both overtired and exhausted. And that would be wonderful, if Namjoon was any good at keeping secrets.

Summary
Jungkook looked young, but not as young as most of the trainees Yoongi had watched come and go. He might even be of age. Still, his eyes were wide, his cheeks round and a little flushed, and his dark brown hair cut in such a boyish, straight lined way, all of which made him look just as innocent as Nokseon Media would want him to seem.
'You're of age, yes?' the director now asked.
Everything about the exchange felt off, and judging by Jungkook's short responses, his questions, his hesitation, he felt it too. Yoongi didn't think about it when he shook his head for him. Slowly, but hopefully unmistakably. Everything about what he'd just heard sounded like a bad idea.

Summary
Jungkook’s tipsy, but he’s not buzzed enough to miss that he doesn’t recognize any of the four dozen people here. And seeing as his friends aren’t ones to ditch and there’s no way they’d play a prank this mean on him, Jungkook reaches the conclusion that he just walked into a stranger’s very expensive home, uninvited, and started eating their food and petting their well-dressed dog.
(Or: Jungkook shows up to the wrong Halloween party and meets the most powerful family in Seoul.)

Summary
Perhaps they fit, in an odd way. Neither of them was exactly what they were supposed to be, but their idiosyncrasies complimented each other. For the first time in years, Jungkook woke up eager for the day. A tiny, precious hope glimmered at the back of his mind that maybe, given enough time, if things continued the way they were, he and Yoongi could build something together.
They were not magically perfect for each other. There were a fair amount of awkward moments as well: a stare that lasted just a bit too long; an avenue of conversation that one of them wasn’t willing to pursue; a moment when Jungkook woke up from a nightmare to a panicked vampire and panicked himself in return. It was nothing so easy as perfection.
But it was real and growing. They cultivated their future together.

In a moment of desperation, Jungkook applies to become a blood donor to an unknown vampire. Yoongi accepts that application and opens up a whole new world to Jungkook. Nothing is as he expected, but Jungkook learns to adapt and falls in love along the way.

he pauses the video. there jeongguk is, crooning into the microphone, blissfully unaware to anything happening behind him. and there yoongi is—there yoongi is. jeongguk stares at his face, caught on camera, as he watches jeongguk.
i see the way you look at him from the back of the stage. you can’t fake that.
yoongi is looking at him… with a quiet sort of awe on his face, the sort of softness that he rarely shows on stage because it doesn’t fit the image that he apparently wants to portray. he’s looking at jeongguk with his lips parted, eyes bright and fond. even in this still image, jeongguk suddenly sees it, breath hitching—yoongi is looking at jeongguk the way jeongguk looks at yoongi.
