Summary
The villain's face turned blue. Robert was suddenly face to face with the memory of Shroud’s neck in his hands, blood rendering his face unrecognizable, watching as the life drained out of his eyes - so much anger, so much pain, the sick satisfaction he felt after it was over.
Being a hero was the worst part of him as much as it was the best part of him.
-
Robert Robertson has to make the decision to return on the scene as Mechaman, or return to his life of dispatching. Regardless, his decision is in vain when he's the only one able to go on a mission covertly after a hospital is hit with a hostage situation and a bomb threat, since the public doesn't know his real identity. Herm honestly just wishes his happiness didn't overlap with getting in harm's way.
Takes place on the route where Robert kills Shroud, Invisigal embraces heroism, and Robert doesn't romance anyone.
Slowburn WaterMech feelings ensues.

Summary
He hadn’t wanted to have everyone in the entire company know how he lived, but when he’d tried to protest and say he was fine, Alice had let out a cackle, turned to face the eavesdroppers, and started a long rant about what his space looked like.
The only one who hadn’t joined in had been Herman, who shot him a wavering grin and a wiggle of his fingers when Robert had stared at him, silently begging the man for help.

Summary
Scientists can write poetry too, right?
He should be balancing equations and charting runes, not scribbling poems about how he can trace every part of Jayce right back to the ocean.
But Jayce’s love and companionship has touched him so deeply he now understands why both astronomers dedicate lifetimes to charting planetary forces and celestial bodies, and why poets spend their whole lives writing about romance, even if the love they’re writing about is doomed, unrequited, or lost to time forever.
In the way Viktor sees it now, the very two worlds are deeply intertwined.
Just like him and Jayce.

Summary
"Maybe… it missed us. I don't think anyone has ever been inside it before us, just used it."
"That's quite poetic, isn't it?" Jayce turns his body towards Viktor, still lying in the grass.
"Pretty romantic, I would say," and Viktor smiles and Jayce finally understands everything.
or...
After the time Jayce and Viktor spend in the 'afterlife' together, the Arcane gives them a chance to travel the world. They take and learn a lot about themselves along the way.
