All you can think about is how many times you’ve been in this exact position before, making out behind closed doors, getting drunk or high enough to lose any remaining inhibitions. Except this time, there’s none of that, yet for some reason, the two of you are still transfixed under each other’s gaze. Any moment now, Dave’s gonna make some asinine remark about his human sexuality not being compatible with your gender, or about how he’s talking to a new girl he met through a friend of a friend.
