Will moved to New York and is studying fine arts. Mike never left Hawkins and still lives with his parents even though his first book was a success. The party doesn't get many chances to hang out all together but they still talk. Will has mostly moved on and is now in a relationship. And Mike hadn't realized there was something he needed to move on from until he saw how happy Will was with Peter when he visited him in New York.

Sweet, shy and sarcastic Yamaguchi has been making his new friend Terushima question his sexuaity.
....Yamaguchi and Terushima were second years in the same high school and they had met on a spring day, just a few days after the school year started. Yamaguchi had been put in a different classroom than the rest of his friends that year and his best friend Tsukki had also recently moved to another city. So he'd been quite lonely in his new class at first since he was too shy to talk to people he didn't know. That was when Terushima, who was one of his new classmates, had come up to him, curious as to why he'd never noticed the green-haired boy before, even though he knew almost everyone in his year. And the two of them had instantly... clicked... just like that, even though they were really different from each other.
