He looked down to see blood seeping into his shirt, yet he did not panic. Rather, he felt as sense of calm washing over him as he fell to the ground.
Lightheaded, he tried grabbing for something to hold onto, but to no avail. Black spots swam in his vision. He felt a throbbing pain in the place the knife was aimed. Why did he have to choose such a painful way of death?
His last thoughts were, 'Is there a life after death, or can I finally rest for eternity?' before black consumed him whole.
