Summary

“Iwannatrysubbing,” He exhales, dropping his head to Atsumu’s shoulder and burying himself in there.
“Ya’ what?” Atsumu murmurs, soothing hands rubbing up and down his spine.
“Iwannatrysubbing,” Kiyoomi groans again, nuzzling into the crook of Atsumu’s neck.
“Omi, baby, ya’ gonna have to talk a little louder than that because I didn’t–”
“I want to try subbing,” Kiyoomi grumbles in exasperation, sitting back up straight on Atsumu’s lap. “For you. I want to try subbing for you.”

Summary
Atsumu believes in love at first sight, because his Ma says it's real. After all, she's still in love with their Dad even though he up and left before either of them could string three words together. So yeah, love at first sight might be real, and it might be everlasting, but it also sucks and Atsumu wants nothing to do with it.
The ball curls right into the corner of the court, spinning up into the crowd and Atsumu gawps as Itachiyama’s spiker lands neatly on his feet and turns to confer with his setter.
"Who is that?” Atsumu blurts.
Aran follows his eyes, sounds bored when he utters the two greatest words Atsumu has ever heard in his short life.
“Sakusa Kiyoomi.”
Gently, Aran smacks Atsumu on the back of his head, breaking him out of his stupor. “Are you warming up or are you drooling?”
Both—Atsumu is excellent at multitasking.Alternatively: When it comes to Kiyoomi, Atsumu loves him and loves him and loves him and never stops. Even when he tries, even when it’s the smart thing for him to do.

Atsumu valiantly resists the urge to flop dramatically against Osamu’s counter. “Why not?” he demands, only just keeping the whine out of his voice. “You don’t mind drinkin’! Bring Suna along! Socialise somewhere that ain’t the wholesalers.”
“Because the other rule of that crawl is that ya gotta kiss a stranger along the way,” Osamu points out.

And getting their bowls ready to go sit on the couch while they watch shitty reality TV, with Atsumu's huge thigh pushing up against his as he laughs into his ear and feeds him a bite from his bowl every once in a while.
He might be more than just physically attracted to Miya Atsumu.
Kiyoomi rejects his parents' credit card for the first time since he was born in an effort to prove he does not need their money to sustain himself. Summary
The usual chimes were silent when Atsumu strolled into the coffee shop. At the bar stood who he assumed was Kiyoomi, focusing very intently on wiping down crumbs from the inside of the cake display. Atsumu twirled the medium pink rose he held between his fingertips as he leaned on the counter, watching the man work. Only when he was satisfied that he’d obliterated every last crumb of coffee and walnut cake from the case, Kiyoomi stood up to his full height and turned to Atsumu, who promptly dropped his flower on the floor.
In which several tropes combine, and Atsumu continuously rips on Komori's eyebrows despite him being an excellent wingman.

“No.” Kiyoomi says. “It takes you too long and you need to be fast.”
Oh, shit. Heat rises dramatically to the surface of Atsumu’s skin and she worries that it might show on her face. But she fixes Kiyoomi with her best, most charming smile. “Ya need me to be fast? Need it that bad, babe?”
Kiyoomi looks like she wants to punch the wall again.
Kiyoomi is coming apart. Atsumu (lovingly) finishes the job for her.

Every nerve ending in his body craves that touch again—begs for the press of Sakusa’s skin into his own. Yet Atsumu stays still until he’s drowned in sleep, not even comforted by dreams.
This is where Atsumu realizes that his life might be a little weirder than most others’. When he drifts off that night, he knows he will wake in the morning and hop on a train back to Hyogo. If he’s lucky, he’ll see Sakusa at Nationals and maybe, just maybe, get another shot at this whole thing. But life will keep rolling along as it usually does.

when someone is meant for you, sometimes greater forces at work will intervene. at least, that's what miya atsumu has to assume when he finds himself propelled into time loop after time loop revolving around one sakusa kiyoomi. each interaction becomes a puzzle for atsumu to solve, with kiyoomi being the ultimate solution. but fate isn't always as straightforward as she seems.
