“Agent Korra, I’ll ask you one last time…”
She was seated in one, of the only two, chairs in the small 4 by 4 room. It was cold. Hairs stood on edge of her exposed neck. Forearms rested rather uncomfortably on the metallic table in front of her. This was all deliberate. She knew that. They always did this when interrogations took place. Basic CIA interrogation tactics.
She looked past the Chief’s eyes, to glance at the reflective glass behind her. To glance at her, before Beifong’s demeaning hazel eyes pierced down on her once again, bringing her back to a harsh reality. Determination shone in Korra’s eyes, and a cool exterior took over her.
She inhaled.
“No,” said Korra coldly, staring Lin straight in the eyes now, “No I do not have feelings for Asami Sato.”
Exhaled.
