After Gale leaves Tav in search of godhood, Tav has been stuck in a state of numbness and depression and longing, refusing to even think his name for fear of crumbling.
When she feels an otherwordly pull to a well with ancient magic, she finds herself able to travel between her world and another, one where Gale is still mortal but doesn't recognize her. Though it isn't her Gale, it's enough to quell the terrors of his absence.
Until her travels upset the balance of space-time, and threaten the existence of both Tavs and both Gales. When their lives are on the line, Tav needs help from the only immortal that can, Gale. Her Gale.

“What in the hells do you want?” she barked with more color in her voice than she had in a year. Since he had left, her voice had been an empty ghost of what it once was.
“Oh, do not be cross!” Mystra tutted at her like a disappointing mother as she stepped closer to stand inches away. “I have brought you an offering. A kindness.”
Mystra reached out a flawless arm to grab her by the cheeks like she was a toddler, and in her eyes she assuredly was. She wondered if Mystra was just teasing her with her omniscience, or if it was truly that obvious how utterly him leaving had destroyed her.
She flinched herself out of Mystra’s grasp and gave her the nastiest glare she could muster. “What do you want?”
“We have a common adversary, you and I,” she placed a gentle and cold hand on her shoulder. “And you’re going to do something for me that will make us both happy.”
“And what could that possibly be?”
Mystra grinned with the unbridled joy and sliminess of a serpent who had just laid eyes on a helpless baby mouse.
“You’re going to kill Gale Dekarios.”

Astarion was fine being just friends with Tav, really.
He was fine watching her and Gale giggling and holding hands on their long walks through the Sword Coast. He was fine seeing them stay up late naming the stars together, and with Gale being the one she now ran to when she had nightmares. He was fine listening to her sharp, whimpering breaths and moans that came from Gale’s tent at night.
He stayed out hunting long past what was necessary on those nights because he wanted to, and no other reason.
He was fine with it because it was his own fault for fucking up their chance at something real due his own crippling fear of betrayal and selfish plans of self-preservation. Maybe if Astarion had just told Tav how he looked for her first after every battle, things would be different.
But alas, he made himself be happy for her because she deserved something genuine and soft and safe. Miserable for him, but happy for her. And the wizard was annoyingly good natured, and at the very least he knew Gale would take care of her.
Until, of course, he didn’t.
And Astarion was left to watch helplessly as she flung herself off of a cliff.

Summary
The Cursed Seal of Heaven has a very specific purpose—to heighten and aggravate emotions and physical strength. After all, a man obsessed is a man easily manipulated.
And there is no one more obsessive than Sasuke Uchiha.
Orochimaru is counting on the seal to amplify Sasuke’s need for vengeance and power until he comes crawling to Orochimaru on his own, thirsting for the knowledge to defeat his brother.
What Orochimaru didn’t count on, was that Sasuke Uchiha had become just as obsessed with mother-henning his own teammates.
Something Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi are finding out the hard way.
Essentially, as soon as Sasuke wakes up after the invasion, he panics, kidnaps his teammates from the hospital, and locks them away in his apartment.
