Summary
Steve gasps, his body in a cold sweat as he kicks off his covers. He groans as he looks at the time on his alarm clock.
It was just a nightmare.
Yeah right. That much pain and anguish ran through him like a live wire, his body ached and it wasn’t because of basketball practice. The dull pain he had been feeling all day, he could no longer ignore. Steve stumbled to his feet, visions of rotten pumpkins and trees plagued his mind. Something was happening to Hawkins again…
And Steve couldn’t ignore it nor could he pretend that everything was fine anymore.
