The weight shifting on the foot of the bed broke Hajime's train of thought as he realized Nagito had sat down next to him. Like he was mirroring him, instead of just laying down right away.

Nagito's grin remained unfazed by both his own self-deprecation and Hajime's nervousness, looking even more uncanny in the dim light of the moon. Hajime squinted slightly as he studied the strange face in the darkness-- Nagito's grey eyes which shone even in such dim lighting, his near-translucent skin, and-

With a start, Hajime realized Nagito's hand had been lifted from his shoulder at some point, and his eyes quickly darted downwards as his face warmed. He could only hope that the night's dark would help conceal the flush across his cheeks.

Summary
Simply piecing a rock back together can't mend the deeper tears within worlds. Despite what everyone thought, the prism wasn't fully repaired after the battle in the Grim, and the cracks are reappearing. Sonic disappeared, a strange cyborg Amy appeared in Green Hills, and similar anomalies are spreading throughout the different Shatterspaces. Can the fractures between worlds be mended-- and if so, how?
