You could tell Caleb was a lot more tense than usual in the days leading up to the costume party that you and your coworkers planned. Maybe you should have hidden the fact that you were planning to match costumes with Xavier, especially when he saw you buy a cop costume online with Xavier buying a prisoner one. Things went back to normal a few days later; he seemed to warm up to the party, so you thought it was the end of the weird tenseness between the two of you.
