Mike sighed as he moved back to his knees in front of Will. The more clarity Will regained, the more he felt the need to shuffle, to look away, to cover his blushing face. Mike was on his knees in front of him. God, he should not be thinking like this. The proximity didn’t help, nor the fact that Mike’s gaze seemed unable to leave Will’s face for more than ten seconds.
“I’m gonna have to deal with that gash,” He said, and Will huffed.
“I can– I can do it myself, Mike–” He said, making to get up before wincing in pain at the tug on his wounded skin, collapsing back into the chair with a gasp.
“Would you stop that?” Mike urged, voice stern. Will stared back at him.
“Stop what?”
“Trying to– I don’t know, play this off. Act like I shouldn’t care,”
“You shouldn’t care, Mike. I’m fine, it’ll heal.”
“I know that, Will. I know you can look after yourself if you need to. But you don’t. I’m here, just— just let me help you,”
Will met Mike’s pleading gaze and caved in a matter of moments.________________
Or, Will gets in a fight. Mike patches him up.

“Huh? W-What do you mean try them on–?” Mike stammered nervously, breaking out into a cold sweat.
“Try them on. They seem like your size.” Will says without missing a beat, eyes free from judgement and a knowing look written all over his face, as if he could see right through Mike’s facade as he lied through his teeth. “Unless you wanna give them away?”
He’s so sneaky. Ogling Mike unabashedly, his intentions clear as day behind those brown eyes of his.
And the worst part? Mike would probably indulge him. He’ll give in eventually and put on those stupid heels because it would make Will happy.
And what Mike Wheeler wouldn't give to make Will Byers happy.
So if wearing these goddamn heels would achieve such a thing, then Mike was more than eager to please.
OR; Mike Wheeler tries wearing heels for the first time and discovers a lot about himself. Will likes it on him too apparently.
