George Russell has spent centuries perfecting the art of passing as human by cycling identities, planting memories, manipulating records, and keeping his nature hidden under layers of charm and precision. In his current life, Formula 1 should’ve been the perfect camouflage: constant travel, curated media, and a background polished enough to hide in plain sight.
But Max Verstappen ruins everything.
Max has raced plenty of rivals, but none as maddening as George Russell with his flawless PR persona. Nothing ever seems to touch him, until odd inconsistencies begin stacking up.
Max tells himself he’s investigating for competitive advantage, because the truth is harder to admit. He can’t stop watching George. He can’t shake the feeling that something is fundamentally wrong with him, and once he notices the first crack, he can’t look away.
Or: What if George Russell is a vampire, Max Verstappen is the only one who notices, and now they’re bound by the secret?
