Summary
Medda Larkin owned quite a lucrative business. Her theater was filled with dazzling performers and engaged audiences night after night.
However, she happened to have a soft spot for the children selling papers on the street day in and out just to survive. Medda, as a result of this soft spot, allows the newsies free entry to her theater so they can watch the show. Some of them choose it as a place for their dates.
