As the hours stretch on, he wrestles with the fear of imposing on someone whose life he no longer has a claim to, even though their apartment feels like the only haven left in a world that suddenly feels cold and unwelcoming.
I giggled so much while writing this, I had to take 10 minute breathers because there's people my age accomplishing great things while I'm out here writing about the UHC assassin and posting on AO3
