A uniquely fucked up depressive sophont from a uniquely fucked up withering planet meets the Affini Compact and falls in love with its kaleidoscopic beauty immediately. Liberated from the chains of the cancerous Terran Accord, they are now to learn what to do when they can do anything, what they are when they can be anything - tough challenge after years of erasing identity and binding themselves in restraint. Yet, rejuvenated, they find so much more beauty and indulgence and pleasure within themselves and the surrounding Universe that they ever could have possibly imagined...
Inspired heavily by Through The Looking Glass in that i wanted an open-minded sophont greeting the Compact with open arms (and legs), and by W.L. Pickard's The Rose of Paracelsus in... you'll see.

Summary
Billions of years ago, when the Universe we live in wasn't even thought of, there existed a smaller reality in its place. A universe way tinier than the galaxies of today, with ten million suns to its name, it still managed to give birth to a civilization of sentient beings. Beings who brought their home world to global amity and concordance. Beings who harnessed the power of a thousand suns. Beings who lived all across the universe on millions of terraformed planets. These beings called themselves the Archons, and their home universe — the Cosmos.
In seventy millenia of their existance Archons explored their home universe entirely and started breaking out, peeking into the maelstrom of colour that is the Metacosmos - the ocean between realities. And they finally found another life within it... a horrid dictatorship ruled by a fascist cohort, attacking them immediately upon contact.
This is a story of one family separated by this conflict; of two siblings doing everything possible and impossible to reunite, up to and including bending dreams, space, laws of science and the fate of the Universe itself.
