Summary
Believe it or not, sex was one of the few (read: many) things that made Jason nervous. He spent over a year on the street as a kid, he knew what creeps could do.
Which wasn’t to say he didn’t like sex, just his inexperience on top of the existing nerves weren’t exactly the greatest combination. Roy understood that. Jason knew he did, reminded every time by soft kisses to his neck and sweet nothings in his ear. The ginger never failed to be patient with him, not with this.

Roy walks over, with a little sway in his hips, and smooths his hands over Jason’s shoulders. “You look gorgeous,” he murmurs, more sincerely. He can already see Jason trying to protest. “Really. It’s a shame we have to go down to a ballroom full of people instead of to that bed over there.”
Jason looks up at him, and isn’t that strange, to be taller than him. His blue-green eyes are the prettiest thing in the world. Roy rubs his thumb along Jason’s jaw. He’s shaved, the skin smooth and soft. “I want to kiss you so bad right now,” he says.
Roy chuckles. “Can’t ruin my lipstick. But imagine the scene that would cause if we showed up like that. I can see the headlines now. ‘Wayne Son Deflowers Beautiful Lady.’”

Jason didn’t flinch. His breath hitched once— barely— as Roy stopped close enough that the damp fabric of his jacket brushed Jason’s arm. Neither of them spoke. The shower hissed, the water hit tile, and the distance between sound and heartbeat dissolved.
“You drive me fucking crazy, you know that?” Roy murmured, his voice low and rough, like gravel under boots. “This,” Roy ground out, tilting his head back slightly, “is what happens when you make me think I’m losing you. I stop thinking, and I start doing.”
