“We invited you out tonight,” Johnny says right to Ten, “because we wanted to tell you something.”
Johnny leans in towards Kun, just the tiniest bit, and it’s hardly anything at all. But Ten notices anyways, but Ten is thinking over everything, but it’s all clicking into place, and Ten’s world, very abruptly, stops.
He knows that tone. He knows what it means when two friends sit down in front of a third friend like this. He knows what those smiles mean, that flirty tone, the fond look. But he’s underwater, and he’s drowning, because why the fuck would it happen with Johnny and Kun.
“We,” Johnny says, clasping Kun's hand with his own, “are together.”

Ten Lee may be an omega, but that doesn’t mean he needs an alpha in order to be happy. He has his stupidly doting roommate, Kun, all of his loyal dongaengs, and his notably annoying best friend Johnny. He doesn’t need anyone else.

“Very well,” the King sighs. He looks conflicted, somewhere between regretful and relieved, and Doyoung wants to scream at him, tear at the expensive fabric of his clothes.
