In which a 12-year old Naruto (not-so) accidentally time-traveled and met his Future Hokage self.
OR
The story where Hokage Naruto is so sick of paperwork that he'll do anything to avoid it. Yes, even to the point of sabotaging his younger self’s dream.
Naruto almost (keyword: almost) felt bad for attempting to crush the hopeful look in his younger self's eyes. However, some things are just meant to be done.
"Do you know what's common between all of them?" He waved a hand towards the Hokage Rock for emphasis, his younger self visibly perking up in eagerness. In a solemn tone, he explained.
"They're all dead."
