How do you make things right? Especially when you're the one who caused all the pain in the first place--
Colonel O'Neill is back at the SGC after a lengthy recuperation period--and this is his first mission back with the team. Sam's doing her best to act as if everything is normal. As if his absence wasn't her fault. As if he hadn't been captured, tortured, killed, and then revived time and time again because of her. Desperate to make things right, she's unsure how to accomplish that feat. Even worse, she's completely unsure where they stand--or whether he can even forgive her.

Summary
Things have seemed 'off' since Sam was rescued from Adrian Conrad's grasp, and she's convinced that the Colonel has some lingering resentments. Weeks after the fact, she's still brooding about what happened and feeling guilty that she was responsible for Jack's injury. Convinced that she's lost his friendship--certain that she's lost him--she's desperate to make things right. Thanks to Cassie, she just might have that chance.

Summary
Simmons and his investigators are gone, the cameras and surveillance finally removed. But Sam is still left feeling hurt and betrayed by the people who should have had her back. Jack is miserable--frustrated at what he was forced to do, and with how things all worked out. But the truth is that there were larger things at play. Bigger secrets being hidden than just an alien entity. They just need to work past it all and figure out what really matters.
