“I… I don’t understand, Hyung. Could you explain, please?” Felix asked, his voice a little stronger.
Felix truly was the bravest of them all.
“Of course, Felix. Thank you for asking.” He allowed his scent to swell with pride and happiness, to make it as obvious as he could that Felix had done good. That they wanted him to ask questions. That no matter what had happened to him before, they would do whatever it took to make him understand how valued he was.

Summary
Felix is an omega scared of commitment, which is precisely the reason he has yet to accept any of the packs attempts at completing their courting. He is also an omega who’s infertile. Given the news quite young, if he ever were to get pregnant— it’d be a miracle.
Or it would’ve been, until now. He was cursed with a natural contraceptive, so why did this pregnancy test claim the impossible?
Mating during courting was no longer taboo, but getting impregnated as an unmated omega by a pack you weren’t in (who were under the impression you were infertile, and who you’re not even sure are ready for a baby), well… that’s definitely unheard of enough to be taboo.
How was he supposed to tell them he was pregnant? What if they don’t want a pup? Will he have to raise them alone as a lone wolf? All he was sure of was that he was keeping this baby. The chances of him getting pregnant were already one in a billion, he won’t get rid of his miracle.

Summary
The trees part in a small clearing and in the middle is the source of the heartbreaking sound. A heaping mountain of a wolf, almost camouflaged in the snow because of his coloring, lays in a pile, already covered in a thin layer of snow. His legs are hulking chunks of muscle and Felix suspects if he could stand the wolf would be able to almost look him in the eyes. But he can't. Because his back leg is torn to shreds. Mangled and bloody. It looks like a bear trap snapped shut on his leg only to be ripped off without opening the jaws of the mechanism.
Felix raises his hands slightly as he inches towards the wolf. “Please, I can help you.” He says as gently as he can over the wind. “I won’t hurt you, I promise.”
The wolf looks directly at him with a wary gaze, before gently nudging Felix’s knee with the tip of his nose in what Felix hopes is acceptance.-or-
The winter storm is coming. A storm that will keep Felix, the outcast mage of the town, trapped in his home for the entire season. He’s prepared for a normal, lonely winter like all the others, when an injured wolf winds up at his door.
