“What are you doing here?” A familiar voice he couldn’t quite place suddenly spoke, uncomfortably close to his ear. Chills ran down Ivan’s spine, snapping him out of his stupor. He shoved his phone back into his coat pocket, and whipped around to face the individual. His obsidian eyes locked with pale gold. Ivan’s already existing feeling of unease morphed into one that was closer to annoyance.
“I heard you were going on a romantic getaway with your boyfriend,” Luka drawled as he twisted a strand of Ivan’s hair around his finger, half lidded eyes piercing his skin. “Ah, that’s right. Crush, not boyfriend. My apologies.”
