“Hinata!” He scratched at the back of his neck and hummed out. “Hi. I heard you’d be back today from Kurenai, so, um.” Naruto laughed quietly. “Ugh! This is so hard!” Hinata properly glanced at his hands, where little blue and purple and pink flowers rested around each other in a bouquet.
Oh.
The realization had Hinata melting as her smile grew as she watched Naruto, lovely Naruto, his cheeks and ears tinged pink, his finger tapping as he clutched the stems of the flowers. Naruto’s eyes met hers and he somehow blushed even harder, his grin wider as they watched each other. Hinata held out her hands.

Summary
Before being the Hero of the Leaf and the entire world, the only place Naruto was truly welcome was at Ramen Ichiraku. He was always accepted by Teuchi and his two daughters.
Two daughters?
Where Hinata's a civilian like in the original concept, and works at Ichiraku. Will the romance between the Teuchi's strange daughter and the future Hokage work out?

Summary
At his lowest, Naruto can always depend on one person to have his back. Someone who makes him feel like he matters, that he can do it.
Trouble is, he has no idea who it is.
Alternatively titled "Guardian Angels", this is the story of how, from their days in the Academy up to adulthood, Naruto and Hinata, driven by mutual admiration, help each other in the only way they feel they can: from a distance. Yet no matter how far apart they are, there will always be a trail of notes guiding them to one another.
