But then the weeks passed and you never did so I assumed─” He trailed off, taking a deep breath as to steady himself. When his gaze finally returned to Dean, there was a pain written on his face that took Dean’s breath away. But his next words were what shattered his heart. “I started to assume that you didn’t want to see me again, you know, after… after the things I told you.”
