Summary
Scott Hunter has sacrificed any hope of a personal life to be the best hockey player he can be. But, at 32, he still has no Cup to show for it, and he's so, so lonely.
(Or: Jacob Tierney and Francois Arnaud aged up Scott Hunter's character in a way I found very compelling, and I wondered what would happen if I aged up Kip as well.)

Summary
Of all things, it starts with a tweet. It’s a picture of Scott in a People magazine Sexiest Man of the Year roundup. Not the cover star, but a stylish photoshoot, wearing skintight Under Armour, looking coquettishly over one shoulder. His friend’s tweet reads: “am i crazy or is this low key kind of fruity?”

Or, Scott and Kip fall in love again.

Summary
The Finger Lakes are about as temperamentally far from New York City as he could get. In less than an hour he can be in Rochester, if he wanted to. If there were anything still there of his old life—the life he’d had as a boy, before his parents died, before boarding school, before the NHL consumed him and spat him out.
Ten years after letting Kip walk out of his apartment, Scott is retired and living in obscurity, running a bed and breakfast in upstate New York.
It’s quiet there. It’s lonely. It’s exactly how he likes it.
Until serendipity brings Kip to his doorstep.
