Clint Barton never planned on bringing them home. He really didn't. It was supposed to be an easy in and out, kill these three women who who were reported to be Widows.
He really didn't plan on bringing them back to base. Not until he saw that two of them were mere teens and one of them was a young adult, about his age when joined SHIELD. Would Maria and Fury be pissed? Yes. Did he care? No.
The archer really didn't plan on bringing them to HQ, but when he saw himself in the three girls, how could he not? They were just trying to survive in a world designed to destroy them.
Clint really didn't plan on bringing them home, but when he looked through his sniper rifle and saw three terrified girls wearing a confident mask, he had to. Right?
Or - A rewrite of the MCU starting from Natasha left the Red Room, but this time with a certain someone and plus one more.
