When Merlin first arrives in Camelot, he is certain of the destiny that awaits him: Clearing the throne of the Pendragon dynasty to make way for the Once and Future King. Working with Nimueh and a rebel band of druids, he is sent to infiltrate Camelot, working from the inside to overthrow those that will challenge the rise of Albion. He didn't count on becoming the manservant of the crown prince--or, worst of all, liking him--and, slowly, Merlin begins to wonder if the king he has been searching for is a lot closer than anyone believed.

Arthur's life had always been pretty normal; He was a mama's boy, got good grades. In Uni, he only drank a little and only smoked pot like once…maybe twice. He had lived on his own since he was 22 and still to this day, hadn't gone hungry or burnt down the kitchen. Yes, Arthur was normal: had a pretty girlfriend, was a promising footie player (Soccer for you American's), and had loads of friends. Yeah, Arthur had been normal…until an insane bloke showed up on his doorstep, one rainy night, telling him he was a dead king. Now Arthur isn't sure what's normal anymore.
