    Ferran had accepted Pedri wasn’t going to be answering any time soon. It was fair enough, given Ferran had sprung life changing information on him while he was halfway across the planet. Still, he couldn’t help but hope he would get something, anything, in return.

    So, he insists. Keeps sending Pedri constant updates of what he’s doing, who is doing it with and where he is doing it. Pedri keeps reading the messages but not saying anything back, which only  spurs him further. He won’t allow Pedri to leave with no trace. Ferran has all the time in the world to wait for him.

    or: Ferran doesn’t know what to do with the distance, so he texts Pedri.
