There were very few humans who wanted to see Flins again. The circumstances under which one could meet the lightkeeper were traumatic for many so it made sense that nobody wanted to see him that often out in the wild zone.
Everybody was nice to him when he went to town for his little shopping sprees, so it was fine enough.
"I'm sorry, but my schedule is full for the week."
"I heard nobody lives in that cemetery of yours. What, you have meetings with ghosts?"
He couldn’t hide the grin on his face. "Exactly. Feel free to drop by if you like ghost stories."
"I wouldn’t mind 'em."
"Then you know where to find me. Have a good night, Captain."
