Summary
On the table, Liyu’s empty glass catches the yellow light. Beside it, Kaiwen’s vocab book lies half-open, the alien headband sliding lower and lower on his neck as he leans closer.
This encounter probably wasn’t much, just a late-night water break, an awkward attempt at learning Korean. But somehow, it feels like more. Like this is where they were supposed to end up tonight, colliding in the silent common room when the rest of the dormitory is fast asleep.

Summary
For a moment, neither of them move, like walking away from each other would break whatever quiet spell the night has woven around them. Liyu’s pulse feels louder than the hum of the fridge, louder than the crickets outside. He knows he should stand, thank Sangwon, retreat upstairs before the spell wears off. But his body just won’t listen—because right now, here, being with someone who had always felt just out of reach, everything feels strangely weightless.

Summary
The most recent ranking is tearing Liyu apart, to put it bluntly. He's been up in the ranks since the first episode, almost certain he was set to make it to the end. But now, he’s fallen to tenth—just two steps shy of the coveted top eight. Ever since he found out, a slow ache has been gnawing at him, telling him that his supporters are slipping away, leaving him for brighter, more dazzling trainees.

Summary
Sanghyeon twists the paper ring on his finger, thoughtful.
“You measured this, didn’t you?”
Liyu looks away. “Maybe.”
Sanghyeon hums but doesn’t decide to press on the topic.
Something flickers in his eyes — something just shy of knowing.
